Overall not sure what to think of this track. Sometimes you look down lush green maincured fairways lined with lots of palm trees and a few bunkers with fine white sand and Mandalay Bay, Luxor, and MGM Grand in the background and think you're playing one of the premier courses in Vegas. Other times you're looking at what looks like an unfinished hole with a Jack in the Box or trucking company parking lot as a backdrop and think you're playing an average course in a bad neighborhood. Yeah, the airport traffic can wear on ya after a while with planes frequently taking off overhead. Some holes are right along the 15 freeway and that can also be distracting as well. The one thing that most surprised me about the course was the condition of the greens. The majority had large burned out spots. Looks like they over fertlized them. The fairways and tee boxes were in really good shape though. The course does get pretty repetitive after a while as well. It's overall a really nice course with a beautiful clubhouse and plenty of T and A to accomidate you. I paid $90 summer twilight rate to play, which I thought was a good rate all things considered. Would I pay the onseason rate of $250 plus to play this track....only if they're going to throw in 5 tee mates with my green fee!

Bali Hai is located literally next to the LV airport and planes are flying over at take off speeds (full throttle) all day. During peak times, it was every minute or so. To top it off the heliport is right there too. The course layout begins to repeat itself after about 5 holes...bunker on the right 180-200 yds. The driving range is 7-8 stalls on astro-turf and you hit into a net about 30yrs down. Expected more from a course like this. Greens were in great shape, rolled true and fast. The staff was very helpful and polite.

Very nice well maintained golf cource with excellent staff, but it is located ridiculously close to the airport and freeway. It was the noisiest golf course experience i have ever had, annoying to play non-stop freeway noise, hellicopters iddleing, and airplanes flying over every two minutes.

Did not realize I had not ranked this course before. One of my favorites in Vegas. Always try to play it when I am there and always get a forecaddy. It makes playing much more pleasant. For the fifth year in a row, the course was in great shape - tee box to green. Staff was great -- in and out of the club house. Played it twice while in Vegas....will play it again next time I am there. Rumor has it that this course may be being destroyed.....have heard others closer to the "know" indicate that the rumors are little more than leverage and that Bali Hai is safe from the bulldozer for at least a few more years. I hope the rumors are not true.

This course is horrifically overpriced. $330 for a round here is so far beyond anything reasonable -- I have no idea how they get away with it. Anywhere else, this would be a $100 golf course, if that. A lot of the holes look the same and the views of the Mandalay offer your outside scenery. Just not worth it. Thank God I got to play it for free without having to pay to find all of this out.
